Sandra Gordon is an Emmy Award winning producer and published author. Her career history spans a variety of productions and provides her with a very well rounded knowledge of film, television and commercial production.

With a degree in television-radio from Ithaca College she began her career working in the Locations Department of feature films including Rudy, the Coen Brother's The Hudsucker Proxy, and John Hughes Baby's Day Out.

Moving between the Midwest, Atlanta and Los Angeles, Sandra transferred those location management skills into production coordinating roles on more films, broadcast network specials, and national television drama series. Her production management credits include corporate video and national commercials as well as the coveted Opening Ceremonies for World Cup Soccer '94 and the Atlanta Paralympic Games in 1996.

As a post producer for film editorial company The Lookinglass Company, Sandra was an integral part of the company's merger and expansion into the now international company, The Whitehouse. Learning the business of post production has given Sandra a unique perspective into the full process of visual storytelling and allows her an added edge of understanding to make each of her productions flow seamlessly from development through the post production process in the U.S. and abroad.

Sandra's moves within the film community and between coasts have put her in a position to act as a mentor and advisor to many who are starting their careers in entertainment. After years of giving advice to students, she put her words to paper and authored Action! Establishing Your Career in Film & Television Production (Applause Theatre & Cinema Books) and Great Jobs for Film Majors (McGraw-Hill/Contemporary Books).

While building Top Bunk Entertainment, a television development and production company, Sandra spends her time producing content for television, film and video production companies; advertising and digital marketing agencies; and post-production facilities.

Sandra remains very active in Chicago's visual media community. She is president emeritus of the Illinois Production Alliance (responsible for the passage of the Illinois Film Tax Credit) and is currently a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and Women in Film.

Often providing career and business advice as a consultant, Sandra enjoys giving back to the community. She makes time in her schedule to speak at universities and to participate in panel discussions and in special events related to the film and television industry.
